FAQ
- Do you have homes for us to walk through?
- Yes, we do! We have different sizes, different types of homes to walk though. Homes are always open during business hours.
- Do you finance homes through Fahl Homes?
- We use couple different lenders to help you get the financing you need. We do not finance through Fahl Homes.
- Can you get a mortgage on your homes?
- YES! Banks do mortgages on Modular homes. They are no different than site-built homes. It’s all the same state code they are built to.
- Can you get a mortgage on Singlewides and Doublewide’s? (Manufactured Homes)
- If you place a Doublewide on a permanent foundation like a crawl space, yes, banks will give you a mortgage. If you are buying a singlewide or a doublewide not on permanent foundations, lenders will do installment loans. Similar to a car loan but with longer length of loan.
- Do you have land to sell?
- Yes, we have some land to sell with homes. Mostly customers find land they want to buy, and we help them combine that land with a home for the same mortgage.
- What areas do you service?

- What’s the different between Modular and Manufactured Homes?
- The primary difference between Modular and manufactured homes is that modular homes are held to the same local, state, and regional building codes required for on-site homes. Same as Site Built Homes.
- Manufactured homes are held to a federal code set by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Example – Singlewides and Doublewides.
- How long does it take to complete a house for me?
- Our goal is 90 days after we set the house to get you moved in.
- Do you sell used homes?
- Very rarely do we have used homes to sell. They sell very fast if we ever do have any.
- Can Modular homes go on concrete slabs?
- Modular homes must go on a permanent foundation like a crawl space or a basement. We install 4 foot poured walls for our crawl spaces and 9 foot poured walls for our basements.
- What are the steps to buy a home at Fahl Homes?
- We help you find the floorplan that’s right for you and within your budget.
- We help you choose colors and options for inside your home.
- We help you get the financing for your home project.
- We order your new home, and our project leader stays in contact with you during the building process.
